Common Ground is an event planning company founded by Julia Patterson. Julia has over 14 years of experience with the bulk of her time in nonprofit event planning and fundraising for Special Olympics Missouri and Harvesters—The Community Food Network.
Julia creates events both intimate and grand. She specializes in food-forward events, minutiae details, events with many moving parts, and relationship building - she is the ultimate people person!
Julia lives in Kansas City with her husband, three children and dog. In her spare time, she loves to cook, camp, craft, and gather with people—yes, in her personal life too! She is a proud member of Les Dames d’Escoffier, a philanthropic organization of women leaders in food and hospitality industries.
